Rhinocypha ignipennis Sélys, 1879 - Fiery Jewel

This species has been recorded so far from Meghalaya within the Indian limits, specifically, in the Khasi Hills. It is also expected to occur in southern Assam and northern Bangladesh.

 

This species is overall very rare, but may be locally common at forest streams in evergreen forests at low elevations.
